Fashion trends change every season and if we want to look fashionable and up to date then we must shop according to the trends. We have good news for each one of you as this season the trends are in favor of both minimalist team and maximalist team. You can still look trendy by wearing simple yet elegant clothes. Simple tailored suit and monochromatic looks were largely spotted on the runways whereas sequins, ruffles, feathers and lacy clothes were also seen prevailing all over the runways. Hence, it is a win-win situation for all of us. The fashion trends of fall/winter 2019 are also inspired by the seventies style as we have seen multiple seventies look on the fashion runways.

Trending Colors
We can’t really move further without discussing the top trending colors of Fall/Winter 2019. We have seen remarkable range of colors on the runways and we really can’t get enough of them.
Neon color:
Neon color isn’t going anywhere as it is one of the trendiest colors of this fall and winter. Neon color looks really magnificent alone as well as combined with other colors. One of the top trends for fall 2019 is neon roll neck. You can wear neon turtlenecks with classic and vintage pieces or with dark colors like blue, grey or red to make it standout. Neon dresses were also spotted on the runways making a real statement.
Butter Yellow:
One of the coolest colors that we have witnessed is butter yellow. It looks quite lovely and give soft and subtle look. You can rock monochromatic looks with this color, or you can rock it by wearing a butter yellow jacket. It will surely make you standout in the whole crowd as it is a quite unique color. Butter yellow palm pumps are also making headlines as they look really bewitching with every dress. So, surely put this color in your closet to have a trendy fall.
Purple World:
Pink, red and coral colors were quite in fashion since so many years but this year different hues of purple are making a huge comeback this season. This color was prevailing all over the runways of fall 2019 as Michael Kors, Rodarte and Tom Ford used different hues of purple like lavender and orchid color to upgrade their collection. You should grab a purple dress for your best friend’s wedding.
Earth Tones:
As we have mentioned earlier that this year trends were hugely inspired by 1970s and hence the trending tone of seventies was also seen on the fashion runways and it is earth tones. Different hues of red and brown were seen everywhere that includes Fig, hazel and coffee colors. Earth tones dresses, jackets, leather shoes and jackets have made headlines as this is the color that exudes a lot of class.
Floral Print:
Who says flowers don’t bloom in winters? This season will see a lot of flowers everywhere and the reason is floral print. It is the most favorite trend of fall 2019 as a lot of designers have embraced this print. We have seen big flower prints as well as small flower prints on the runways. Rose is one of the flowers that were seen hugely on the fashion runways. Designers that were seen embracing this trend are: Miu Miu, Erdem, Paco Rabanna, Dries Van Noten, Marc Jacobs, and Prada. This print looks really lovely and it can be used to dress up or dress down. This season, dresses, skirts, and tops are being made using floral prints and they will elevate your looks instantly.
Bold Power Shoulders:
Power shoulders have made a huge comeback this season and everyone is talking about them. This bold and trendsetting style is sure to get you noticed. This shoulder style is inspired by eighties and can be worn by business women and also fashion loving women. Jackets and coats with ultra-structured shoulders were sighted in Maison Margiela, Saint Laurent, David Koma, Givenchy, Balenciaga, and Gucci collection. All eyes were on unisex clothes and suits and we also couldn’t get enough of it. Loose trousers were paired up with big blazers and looked quite sexy. Pierre Davis, the famous designer from Italy have launched his gender-neutral collection by the name of “No Sasso’’ (No sex) and people are really loving it. So, borrow your favorite clothes from your significant other and light up your looks.

All white and all black clothing has been trending since a very long time. But have you ever tried doing tonal dressing with other colors? If you haven’t, then you surely will as monochromatic clothing is all you will see this entire season. Black, yellow and red leather dresses looked absolutely marvelous on the runways. Leather suits are also in fashion this fall as both leather pantsuits and skirt suits were seen prevailing everywhere. Nina Ricci, Chalayan, Akris and Seis Marjan has showed their great collection of leather suits in fashion week. You can also pair faux leather pants with your favorite sweater or a leather skirt with turtle neck sweater and it will make you look simply gorgeous. Leather trousers are also making a huge mark on trends this season as they are unique and new. High-waisted and loose leather trousers look phenomenal and will instantly upgrade your boring looks. Blazers with flowy skirts look odd right? Ahh, not anymore because it is one of the biggest trends of fall/winter 2019. This look has been embraced by all most all designers and they have shown that anything can be worn with style. Big and short blazers are paired with skirts and they look absolutely stunning. You can either go for a plain skirt with plaid blazer or a plain blazer with plaid skirt. It is all about mixing and matching and playing with your outfit. Celine, Valentino, Burberry, Marni, Balenciaga, Victoria Beckham and Gucci have shown their elite taste by bringing this trend back on runways. The bigger the better:
Oversized clothes are all we want this winter. Duvet dressing and oversized blazers, blouses and trousers were seen everywhere in fashion week of Milan and Paris. Tights have been long gone from the runways but this season they are back with great variety. Sheer or lacy tights look sexy and they are paired with dresses of every length to elevate the looks. We have seen sheer tights with pearls and jewels on them and pink and yellow lacy tights on the runways. Versace, Moschino, Louis Vuitton, Ditto Balmain, Givenchy, Valentino and Gucci have brought back this trend and we can see that they make the dress look flirtier.
