I hope you all are having an amazing summer, which is pretty much coming to an end now. Every morning when we wake up nowadays, we see yet ANOTHER makeup release. Recently, ALL the big names have started dropping Foundations! Is it just me or do you guys wonder about how all these brands just KNOW what the competing Makeup Company is about to release? Anyhow, today we shall be discussing all of the new releases and I will share a brief description of every new foundation release so that you can have an idea which one you could buy.
Let us dive in!
So we have five new foundations, four of them are now available while the
Charlotte Tilbury one has around 17K people on its wait list, so yes we gotta wait for that one. So, we’ll talk about that one once we get our hands on it.
- Anastasia Beverley Hills Foundation
- Urban Decay Stay Naked Foundation
- Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Hydrating Longwear Foundation
- PatMcgrath Sublime Skin Fetish Foundation
Here are brief descriptions of them all for you guys to see, which one might add to your cart!
1.Anastasia Beverly Hills Luminous Foundation
We have all loved Anastasia Beverly Hills for their AMAZING eyeshadows.
The company has no doubt given us some of the most beautiful and most-
used eyeshadow palettes. My personal favorite is the ABH Soft Glam
Palette, I do have the Jackie Aina’s collab palette on my list though. They
have recently dived into the world of foundations. The foundation has a
fairly glowy finish – as its name suggest and does wear for a good 6-7 hours. It retails for $38. I think it would best suit people with dry skin like me.
2.Urban Decay Stay Naked Foundation
Urban Decay has continued with their famous ‘naked’ line and they have
released a new foundation which they named ‘stay naked’. This foundation
is a buildable foundation. The best thing about this foundation is the shade
range. It comes in 50 shades with 9 shade intensities, 3 mastertones, and 7
undertones ALL of which gives you a great number of options to choose
from. It retails for $39 and claims to last up to 24 hours.
3.Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Hydrating Longwear Foundation
Rihanna has recently been killin’ it with all the new releases and this time it
is a Hydrating Foundation. YES!!! This one is for all of us dry skin girls out
there. The earlier foundation that Fenty Beauty had released catered to the
oily skin people and the foundation got great reviews from them. This new
foundation also has a new packaging that is a tube instead of a glass bottle
and I honestly love it. The foundation retails for $35 and comes in 50 shades – which is an amazing shade range in my view. Per the press release
“Recognizing the need for a hydrating Pro Filt’r formula that normal to dry
skin types will love, Rihanna created a hydrating foundation that delivers it
all — comfortable medium- to full-coverage, long-wear capability, and a
natural finish,” reads a press release from Fenty Beauty, which says Pro
Filt’r Hydrating Longwear Foundation is a “first-of-its-kind foundation” that
brings together a natural-looking finish, a moisturizing feel, and coverage
that actually lasts.
4.Pat McGrath Sublime Skin Fetish Foundation
Mother Pat has won our hearts with her unbeatable eyeshadow quality and
she heard us all and has come up with a foundation. The foundation is
basically designed to be used on the runway so it has a natural skin-like
finish. It does have alcohol as its third major ingredient so it does make it a
little something to stay away from for people who have dry, eczema prone
skin. However, the finish of the foundation is to die for. It is your-skin-but-
better and does last a good 8-9 hours. The only thing that we need to worry
about is that it is for $68 – which is a pretty hefty price tag.
All in all these foundation releases are great but please keep in mind that you don’t need to buy them ALL. Only pick the one that suits your skin type the most and leave the rest for some other time.
See you guys in the next post! Take care!
